Hi!
I’m Kristin, the creator and teacher behind all the knitting courses here at Norwegian Knitting.
I’m originally from Bergen (the most beautiful city in Norway!) but now live in Trøndelag, where the winters are crisp, cold and snowy — perfect knitting weather.
Knitting has been part of my life since childhood. A few years ago I discovered that knitters around the world were eager to learn traditional Norwegian knitting techniques — and Norwegian Knitting was born.
Since then, thousands of knitters from many countries have joined my courses to learn colorwork knitting, create beautiful garments and gain confidence in their knitting.
In these courses you will learn how to:
• knit beautiful Norwegian colorwork
• understand traditional patterns and motifs
• manage two-color knitting with confidence
• create sweaters, mittens and other timeless garments
Each course is designed to guide you step by step — even if you are new to Norwegian knitting.
