"TIL FJELLS!

You will get instructions and charts for both! The videos will focus on the cardigan.
Learn how to add or change design features (like corrugated ribbing) and how to make other adjustments to the original pattern/design
This Knit-Along is about much more than finishing a beautiful cardigan.
Along the way you'll build confidence, learn traditional Norwegian techniques, and gain skills you'll use in many future knitting projects.

For many years I've been studying traditional Norwegian knitting—collecting vintage patterns, researching their history, and redesigning them for today's knitters. My passion is preserving this remarkable textile heritage while making it accessible and enjoyable for modern knitters around the world.
I believe knitting is about much more than simply following a pattern.
It's about understanding how a garment is constructed, choosing colors with confidence, appreciating the stories behind the designs, and experiencing the joy of creating something that will last for generations.
Whether you're knitting your very first Norwegian cardigan or you've been knitting for years, my goal is to guide you step by step, answer your questions, and help you enjoy every part of the journey.
I'm delighted you've chosen to knit Til Fjells ("To The Mountains") with me.
Welcome to Norway—and welcome to this Course and Knit-Along!
Fun fact: I have taught Norwegian knitting techniques to more than 12,000 knitters from over 40 countries, and I'm still just as excited every time someone discovers the beauty of traditional Norwegian knitting.
During the Knit-Along I'll also demonstrate several optional techniques, including:
✔ Corrugated ribbing
✔ Alternative button bands
✔ Different color combinations
✔ Finishing tips
