This is an old Danish/Norwegian design from around the 1940s, redesigned in 2023 by Silje Myrmel Stura/Norwegian Knitting.

This cardigan is knitted with just two colors at a time. Most of the red is embroidered on at the end, except in the rounds where there is only white and red (e.g. in rounds 5-7 of the yoke pattern). Embroidery with duplicate stitches is much easier than it might seem, and the videos will help you get the hang of this.
